Soi Dogs

Welcome to SoiDogs.com! If you’ve ever visited Thailand or are lucky enough to live here, you’re no stranger to these amazing animals.

Soi Dogs can be fearless, aggressive, playful, pitiful, and even suicidal at times as they lay down in the middle of the busiest of roads without a care in the world. You’ll find at at least one Soi Dog at every 7-11 convince store, usually right in front of the door, no matter how off the beaten path you may be. Unfortunately, you will also find Soi Dogs when you least expect them as you drive by on your motorbike and the meanest of the pack (or the entire pack) decides to chase you in an attempt to have your leg for a snack.

Soi Dogs are also the ultimate security guard as they bark relentlessly at those who enter your street in the middle of the night. They’ll also keep you awake until sunrise barking for no reason at all. If you visit or live in Thailand, it is impossible to exist without them.

However you’ve come to know Soi Dogs, there is no denying they are amazing creatures who often defy death and the harshest of conditions, often carving out a special place in your heart. Who doesn’t love a Soi Dog?
